How does a Quooker work?

A Quooker keeps water in a vacuum-insulated tank at 108°C, using only 10 watts of energy to stay hot. When you turn the tap, the water instantly boils as it leaves the tank at 100°C, while fresh water flows in to reheat. An integrated active carbon filter purifies the water for the best taste.
