Dalzell’s of Markethill are proud to announce that we have come to agreement to extend and continue our sponsorship of Banbridge Rugby Club to become their ‘Main Sponsor’ for the 2013-14 season in partnership with leading the leading Home Appliance & Entertainment brand Samsung.

The deal announced by Banbridge Rugby Club through their Twitter, Facebook and Website will see both the Dalzell’s of Markethill and Samsung logos take pride of place on the 1st XV Kit as seen above with Club Captain Ian Porter in addition to the existing billboards around the ground.

Founded in 1926 the club is affiliated to the Ulster Branch of the Irish Rugby Football Union competing in both the Ulster Senior League and Division 2b (currently 2nd) of the All Ireland League.  The club impressively fields more than ten teams including five adult teams, four youth teams at under-19, 17, 15 and 13 level, and mini rugby teams from age 6 to 11! Needless to say they a big part of the local sporting community having produced a number of international stars.
