The Dimplex Optiflame Horton Chrome Inset Fire is a traditional-style inset fire finished in a stylish chrome effect and benefits from Dimplex's unique Optiflame®effect, supplied with real coal. There is a 2kW fan heater with choice of two heat settings, a thermostat, and the flame effect can be used independently of heat. The controls on this fire are concealed beneath the lift-up canopy. This model comes in a choice of three finishes: brass effect with black detail, black and brass effect detail and chrome effect with black detail.

The fully 3-dimensional effect uses established ultrasonic technology to create an ultra-fine water mist As the mist rises up through the logs or coals, the light reflects against the water creating a convincing illusion of flames and smoke. The result is an appearance so authentic it will be mistaken for true flames and smoke. The Horton Black HTN20CH/1 is designed to fit 16" and 18" fireplaces and all conventional flues. This fire has an inset depth of just 55mm when fully inset or can be used flat-to-wall using spacer provided.
