What is Infinia?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Infinia TV Series<\/strong> from LG is the latest offering of Plasma <\/strong>and\u00a0LED<\/strong> and most importantly their first big move into Full HD LED 3D Televisions<\/strong>, once again LG is proving that ‘Life is Good!’ <\/span><\/p>\n

All LG Infinia Televisions larger than 32″ are all High Definition 1080p and all are equipped with Netcast Entertainment<\/strong> access (LG’s Connectivity Suite – You Tube,\u00a0 BBC iPlayer etc) which now includes Skype.\u00a0 Refresh rates on the new screens are similiarly impressive with LG’s TruMotion<\/strong> technology the LX9900 at 400Hz, LE8900 at 200Hz and the LE7700 coming in at 100Hz.\u00a0 Meanwhile the Infinia Plasmas PK990 and PK7900 come in with 600Hz.

Connectivity isn’t over looked either with a 2.0 USB, 4 HDMI’s, Wireless AV (with Dongle) with a 100 Feet range and DLNA enabled.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course though the biggest attraction is the stylish design, a picture frame finish and with a total depth of\u00a0 just over an Inch it sets new standards in regards of finishing.<\/span><\/p>\n

The LX9900 is the 3D Full HD LED (1080p) member of the range, it comes in two screen sizes; the 55″ 55LX9900 and 47″ 47LX9900.\u00a0 The Active 3D Display comes complete with 2 sets of glasses and has a Contrast Ratio of 10,000,000:1 & a refresh rate of 400Hz.

The LE8900 is the Full HD (1080p) LED range and is available in three screen sizes; a 55″ 55LE8900, a 47″ 47LE8900 and a 42″ 42LE8900.\u00a0 This Series of the range has a Contrast Ratio of 9,000,000:1 and a refresh rate of 200Hz.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finially the excellent Infinia entry range LE7900 LED TV is offers a choice of 5 Screen sizes 55″ 55LE7900, 47″ 47LE9700, 42″ 42LE9700, 37″ LE9700 and a very manageable 32″ 32LE9700.\u00a0 Has a Contrast Ratio of 5,000,000:1 and has a refresh rate of 100Hz.

The 60″ 60PK790 and 50″ 50PK970 has the same specifications as the 990 but for the lack of TruBlack technology.
