What’s Happening At Dalzells<\/span><\/h1>\n

This year\u2019s Energy Saving Week<\/strong> is running from Monday the 25th to Sunday the 31st of \u00a0October 2010. At Dalzells we’re fully behind the concept and goals of the Energy Saving Trust, especially as we’re an Energy Saving Recommended Retailer <\/strong>of kitchen appliances and home entertainment goods. <\/span><\/p>\n

To celebrate Energy Saving Week 2011 <\/strong>the Energy Saving Trust<\/strong> will be setting up an Advice Stand<\/strong> in-store on Wednesday 27th October<\/strong> to provide Free\u00a0Impartial Energy Saving Advice<\/strong> to customers and the general public.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to this our sales staff will be undergoing additional Specialist Training<\/strong> from the Northern Ireland Energy Agency<\/strong> to build on their existing knowledge of Energy\u00a0Efficient Electrical\u00a0Appliances<\/strong> and their benefits.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What is Energy Saving Week?<\/span><\/h2>\n

For the last\u00a014\u00a0Years Energy Saving Week<\/strong> has been the Energy Saving Trust\u2019s Annual National Campaign<\/strong> to encourage people to save energy and reduce their carbon footprint. The weeks events includes promotional and educational events to create greater awareness of both the\u00a0environmental\u00a0and financial benefits of becoming more efficient with energy. This is achieved through established partnerships as with ourselves, an Energy Saving Trust Recommended Retailer. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Energy Saving Week Theme For 2011<\/span><\/h4>\n

This years theme for Energy Saving Week<\/strong> is Control<\/strong>, with a different spotlight for each day through the week. Energy Saving Trust Recommended Accreditation will be the focus on Thursday, to learn more about the accreditation and what it means at Dalzells visit our previous Blog Post – <\/span>Energy Saving Recommended Accreditation 2010\/11<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The theme will look at the many ways of managing and minimising energy consumption within the home.
