The Sharp LC-60LE952E 3D LED TV is truly a treat as it uniquely utilises Sharpe’s Quattron 4-colour technology with 3D technology to offer the brightest picture of any LED backlight LCD 3D TV. Sharpe’s Quattron™ technology latest breakthrough has produced the LE925 Series from Sharp. The first Sharp TV of the series, the LC-60LE952E combines Quattron Technology with Frame Rate Enhanced Driving and Backlight Side-Mount Scanning Technology to produce greater brightness and more colours for the most realistic TV picture ever. The beatifully slim design (less than 40mm) of the Sharp LC-60LE952E 3D LED TV makes for a  stylish impression in any home with its Mirror Black Finish. Sharp’s 3D Quattron Technology with the additional yellow pixels added to the conventional RGB panel, enables a superb expansion of colour reproduction for the 3D Television, smoother details, and excellent energy efficiency. The LC-60LE952E features a convenient built-in Time Shift Function for up to 150 minutes of standard viewing or up to 60 minutes high definition video.

What Is Quattron 3D?

Our brains can create every colour in the rainbow, it manages to do this by making comparisons by gradiating between two colours.  The amount of red light to green and the strength of blue to yellow across the full colour spectrum.  This calculation so to speak, takes place across the back of our eyes, in an area called the fovea, the colour sensitive region at the centre of the retina.
