Are the prices different in store?
We’re a flexible retailer and we want to do business with you. If you call us we may be able to do something better for you. D-Deals though are internet-only prices and won’t be beaten by anyone!
When will my appliance be in stock?
At Armagh Electrical.com we only sell electrical goods that are physically in our warehouse. So, only as long as it takes to load onto one of our vans! If you call or visit us and have a special purchase we’ll call you as soon as it gets in.
Do prices change?
They can and do, especially with oil, commodity and currencies being what they are. We’ll always do our best to give you the very best price and service. If you’re in any doubt call us and we’ll happily tell you.
Will my appliance fit?
You should carefully measure your appliance and use the details provided in our specifications. If you are at all unsure please call us and we’ll be happy to help.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Online we accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa debit, Maestro and Delta. You can of course pay by phone using the same methods or alternatively you can pay by post using a cheque, though this will take longer to authorise.
* We only deliver to the card holder’s address if you’re paying by phone or cheque.
Do you accept Euros?
If your visiting Dalzell’s of Markethill we’ll happily let you pay in Euros and at a very competitive rate.
How safe is online payment?
It’s 100% secure as we use the very latest SSL encryption technology provided by Paypoint. We also provide the new chip and pin type technology introduced by the major card issuers. Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secured.
Receiving your delivery
Who’ll deliver my appliances?
If you live in Northern Ireland, the border counties or Dublin it’ll be one of our own delivery teams. If you live in the rest of Ireland it’ll be delivered by our trusted courier. Either way you’ll get the same great service.
Will I need to wait in all day?
No you won’t – we understand you’ve things to do so we’ll provide you with a three hour window in which time your appliances will arrive.
How long will my appliances take to arrive?
No matter where you live in Ireland we aim to have appliances with you within two working days, and it’s usually sooner! If you’re in a bit of a pickle then call us, we may be able to help you out.
I need to delay my delivery!
No problem, we realise that there’s a range of reasons as to why you might have to delay your delivery. From the builder running late to holidays, we’ll take care of it. Please note this in the special instructions when placing your order.
I missed my delivery...
We’ll call you that day to ensure you are there and give you your delivery window. If for some reason you have to disappear we may leave your appliances in a safe place or with neighbours. If we can’t we’ll arrange a new time with you and we reserve the right to charge you for this. See our Terms and Conditions.

Do you charge extra for a Saturday delivery?
No we don’t, we realise that this may be the only time you can accept your appliances.
Will all my appliances arrive at once?
Yes they will. The only time this won’t happen is if you request it.
Can I change an arranged date?
You can as long as your appliances haven’t already been dispatched – we’re pretty quick!
How will I know my appliances are as they should be?
Your appliances are checked three times for their condition: in our warehouse, on loading onto our vehicles, and in your home. If you want we’ll even take away all the packaging for recycling.
When to book your plumber or gas engineer?
It’s always best to book your tradesman once your appliances have arrived.
What happens if I cancel my order?
If for some reason you request this your card will be refunded within two working days. It may though take longer to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer. If your goods have already been dispatched you’ll still be charged for the delivery.
You have a problem with your appliance?
This is where customer service really starts. Just call us on +44 (0)28 37 551260 and we’ll resolve your problem over the phone or we’ll arrange for the manufacturer’s engineer to visit you.
Can I exchange my appliance?
We’re happy to exchange a product within 14 days of purchase provided the appliance is still in its original packing and hasn’t been used or damaged by the customer when attempting to fit it. We reserve the right to charge you for this service. Please see the Non Faulty – Returns section of our Terms and Conditions.
I need to return my appliance
If for some reason you require the return of your appliance please call us on +44 (0)28 37 551260 and we’ll arrange a collection. We reserve the right to make a charge in this instance. For full details please see our Terms and Conditions. You have seven working days from the date of your delivery to request a collection. To avoid this please carefully review what it is you are buying, its dimension and its requirements.
How long is my Warranty?
The length of the manufacturer’s warranty is listed in the product description. Typically this is one year but in many cases it will be two or five. Some manufacturers such as Hotpoint and Indesit offer a longer parts guarantee. The manufacturer’s warranty is in addition to your consumer rights under the Sales of Goods Act.
